Hello, if you follow the link posted by 'Philips - Mark' here:, it is explained, that the Philips SimplyShare is for the Streamium DLNA enabled products. Regarding your wish streaming videos from tablet, I recommend using Twonky, but also iMediaControl. Twonky costs, but supports playlist.
IMediaControl is free, does not support playlists and contains advertisments. So choose by yourself. They were working fine on my iPhone.

You can search videos on youtube, vimeo and so on and beam them easily to your TV. Works great with the Philips TV. Hi smart, I have installed both the app you mentioned, twonky as well as imediaserver don't recognized my tv. They do regognize my popcorn this works fine. I have checked the tv (40pfl9704/h12 2009) and jointspace is enabled. What am i doing wrong here or do i miss something, can youhelp me out?
